Raised on the golden beaches of the Sunshine Coast, Australia, I started my design career as a residential building designer.

After moving to New Zealand as a young adult, I continued my studies in visual arts, moving into print design and typography.

While working in the snow sports industry in Queenstown, I worked with companies like RedBull, Xbox and Cadburys - designing event promotional media - and learning front-end web development.

Since then, I have travelled to 21 countries around the world, working remotely as a freelancer for clients on nearly every continent [still looking for a project in Antarctica LOL].

Now based back in New Zealand, I work as a product designer handling everything from initial strategies for product start-ups, wire-framing and testing, to full rollout of media and product assets.

It sounds very cliché... but my goal is to produce clean and simple products [whether digital or physical] that connect people emotionally to a product or event.

I'm a firm believer that less is more, and prefer classic timeless design over the fast-changing design trends that don't age so well.

That being said, I love new technology and spend a good portion of my time understanding new platforms, languages and tools to optimise output.

I use the Adobe CC Suite and Figma for most of my work, and love building websites using Webflow [which this site was built on].

Life to me is about exploration, being challenged, and personal growth. My career in product design very much follows this same philosophy.
